Primarily made for the fixed wireless broadband industry, the new SMV5256A voltage-controlled oscillator has minimized susceptibility to pushing and pulling. Pushing is minimized to less than 4 MHz/V and pulling to only 5 MHz. The SMV5256A VCO operates at a frequency range of 5,256 to 5,356 MHz and tunes to within 1 to 4 Vdc of control voltage. With a clean spectral signal of –86 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, this oscillator yields a power flatness of ±2 dB over the frequency range. Pricing starts at $15.95. Z-COMMUNICATIONS INC. San Diego, CA.
