With no moving parts that can break, the √Cool compressed air cooling system is said to be highly reliable, eliminating downtime caused by unclean, overheated controls. The system is designed to operate on small enclosures with limited mounting space and extremely high temperatures or corrosive environments where conventional air conditioners or heat exchangers will not work. High ambient temperatures are not a concern because the system uses compressed air from a remote source. Power is via a vortex tube, a device that creates a vortex from compressed air and separates it into hot and cold air streams. Cooling capacities range from 400 BTU/H to 2,500 BTU/H. Each system includes a vortex tube, thermostat, solenoid, and ducting kit.
