Designed to provide BICSI-recommended minimum bend radius for "sensitive" fiber-optic cables, the Radius Control Modules (RCMs) assure consistent data transmission in telecomm and datacomm networks-data transmission speeds can be impaired by too small a bend in optical cables. The snap-in design of the NEBS-compliant modules speed wiring integration efforts and increases productivity. The RCM product line includes radius control modules in three widths-3.00", 1.75" and 1.00"-with the modules designed to snap onto the edge of sheet metal up to 0.104" thick for typical cabinet wire egress. The 3" module is available for snap mounting only. Typical applications include fiber system patch panels, fiber interconnect panels, switches, routers, and multiplexers. Several modules can be combined to create service loop configurations, 180° wire loops, and to separate and control wires.
