Tantalum-cased electrolytic capacitors from Vishay Intertechnology offer 1000-µF capacitance at 75 V in the D case size.

Tantalum-cased electrolytic capacitors from Vishay Intertechnology offer 1000-µF capacitance at 75 V in the D case size. The T18 series wet tantalum devices feature a reverse voltage of 1.5 V at +85°C and thermal shock of 300 cycles, along with high vibration capability. In the D case, ESR values drop down to 0.50 Ω at 120 Hz and +25°C (A, B, and C case sizes also are available). Through-hole axial capacitors operate over a temperature range of −55° to +85°C, to +125°C with voltage derating. Capacitance tolerance is ±10% and ±20% standard. Terminations are standard tin/lead, with RoHS-compliant 100% tin terminations also possible. The capacitors will find homes in timing, filtering, energy hold-up, and pulse power applications in power supplies for aerospace and avionics equipment.
