Said to simplify designs while reducing assembly time, the IMS200 micro-stepping, bipolar chopper driver provides up to four built-in microstep resolutions. Adjust-able currents up to 2A per phase are output to the motor coils and users can switch and perform 1, 0.5, 0.25 and 0.125 microstep resolutions at any time and on-the-fly without reprogramming. The component operates on 24 Vdc and has built-in features to illustrate power activation. Other features include optically isolated inputs, clock/cw and direction/ccw inputs, a direction control input, and an auto-current reducer.
