For a wide variety of applications such as office equipment, communications, computer peripherals, document handling equipment, instrumentation, medical equipment and vending machines, the Type LYMM 1.57"-diameter permanent magnet dc motor has a voltage range of 6 to 36 vdc with a maximum rated output of 34W at 8.4 oz.-in. of torque. Motors offer superior magnetic circuit design, a skewed armature, excellent commutation, and higher torque constants than motors of equivalent size and resistance, it's claimed. Motors have internal EMI filtering, sleeve or ball bearings, a 3/16"-diameter shaft, and external single- and dual-channel encoders. A newly designed brush guide assembly reduces audible noise and doubles brush life.
