Designed for high-resolution, space-restricted applications, the RHI58 series incremental rotary encoders come in an industry-standard, 58-mm diameter housing with a mounting profile of less than 2". They employ a hollow shaft configuration that allows them to be mounted directly to the application’s shaft without couplings. A torque rest prevents the component from rotating. Models are available with pulse outputs up to 5,000 ppr, a maximum frequency of 200 kHz, a choice of three or six outputs, and a cable connection. Additional features include a 10 mm or 12 mm diameter shaft bore, an alarm output, and operating voltages of 10V to 30V or 5V. PEPPERL+FUCHS, Twinsburg, OH. (330) 486-0001.
