Performing adhesive and sealing duties, the optically clear EP37-3FLF epoxy system is said to be highly flexible and can also be employed as a potting and encapsulation compound. The substance reliably bonds to a variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, rubber, and many plastics. Bonds offer resistance to impact, shock, and severe thermal cycling. It features a one-to-one mix ratio by weight or volume and cures at room temperatures. Operating temperature range is from -80°F to +250°F. Other specs include a resistivity of 1 3 1014 Ω-cm at 75°F, Shore D hardness of 30, tensile strength of 4,000 psi at 75°F, and a peak exotherm for a 200-gm mass of 40°C. The adhesive is available in pint, quart, gallon, and five-gallon kits and, stored at room temperature, exhibits a shelf life of one year. MASTER BOND INC., Hackensack, NJ. (201) 343-8983.
