The Plastic SurLok compression lug is suited for medical, process control, heavy equipment, and railroad applications or any other application using high current cables that are frequently plugged and unplugged. It features two locking mechanisms that ensure a secure connection to maintain voltage and amperage levels. The head of the pin locks into place once mated to the socket. The 3.3 mm contact, rated at 70A with 8 AWG, features a threaded tail termination. All other sizes feature tapped tail terminations. These sizes include the 5.7 mm contact, 95A with 6 AWG; the 8.0 mm contact, 170A with 6 AWG, and 10.3 mm contact, 350A with 2/0 AWG.
