Sporting touch-safe female housings, cable strain relief, and positive latches, the PowerMod HP high-power series connectors are reportedly easy to assemble and set a new standard for cost-effective, high-power connectors. RoHS compliant and rated for up to 450A in applications at a 30ºC temperature rise, the connectors employ the company’s sterling contact technology, which exhibits low electrical resistance, provides a minimum of 500 mating cycles, and are rated for circuit interruption (true hot plug). They are IP 20 rated for user safety and include coding keys for further protection by allowing users to configure unique pairings for up to six individual connectors. The connectors handle wire sizes from #6 to 4/0 AWG and metric wires from 13.3 to 95 mm2. For prices, call ANDERSON POWER PRODUCTS, Sterling, MA. (978) 422-3600.
