Consisting of scores of individual fine wires chemically bonded to soft, closed cell silicone sponge, Elastofoam gasket material has outstanding compressibility, recovery, and fail-safe wire retention with wires oriented perpendicular to mating surfaces. Wire material is Monel, phosphor-bronze or aluminum, and gaskets are custom die-cut and assembled.
