Stackpole Electronics MPE and MPI Series non-shielded power inductors provide solutions for the engineer with design limitations on height, footprint, and performance.

Stackpole Electronics has expanded its non-shielded power inductor product line. The MPE and MPI Series provide solutions for the engineer with design limitations on height, footprint, and performance. These series expand Stackpole’s non-shielded inductor offering, which previously focused on high-power and high-saturation inductors.

The MPE Series is designed with a profile of 1.2 mm and is available in values from 1 μH to 68 μH, yet is still capable of handling up to 1.4 A. The MPI Series is available in three heights from 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm. It is available in values from 1 μH to 1000 μH, and is rated for current up to 2.5 A. Its rugged enclosure makes it suitable for environments up to 105ºC.

The MPE series is priced around $0.27 each. The MPI series is priced around $0.24 each. Samples of both parts are available.
