Ohmite Manufacturing announces that it will showcase its newest products at the Applied Power and Electronics Conference at booth #827. Products on display include Ohmite's BA Series of wirewound resistors, custom thick film products, and new active cooling heat sinks.

Featuring a rugged wirewound design, Ohmite's BA Series of high power resistors are ideal for dynamic braking, motor starting, and power control applications. Other uses for the BA Series include inverter and power conversion applications. Available in three extrusion forms, the heatsinkable BA Series resistors feature power ratings of 500-1000 watts and offer multiple opportunities for customization. Options include thermal cut-off, scalable lengths, and custom leads.  Resistance values range from 0.5 ohms to 18K ohms.

Ohmite will also highlight its capabilities in designing custom thick film solutions for customers. During this process, Ohmite engineers use a standard, thick film product, which consists of a deposited film on an alumina substrate, and customize its form, fit, and function to fit a customer's specific high power or high voltage application.

Ohmite will also feature two new active cooling heat sinks. Ohmite's modular C Series heat sink accepts a 40 mm fan, which will make it easy to modify for any high power environment. In addition, Ohmite will showcase its CP Series of water-cooled heat sinks for its 1000 and 2000 watt TAP Series of resistors.
