Thin-Film Resistor Network Qualifies For MIL-PRF-83401

A through-hole, single-in-line, thin-film resistor network developed by Vishay Intertechnology features an absolute temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±25 ppm/°C. It also has TCR tracking of 5 ppm/°C and tight ratio tolerances to ±0.05%. The M83401 is claimed to outperform all requirements of MIL-PRF-83401 R, V, and H characteristics. The network offers three to nine resistors, and comes in 6-, 8-, and 10-pin low-profile configurations. Thanks to the company’s SPM passivated Tamelox film, noise drops to less than -30 dB and voltage coefficient to less than 0.1 ppm/V, while power ratings range from 0.06 to 0.120 mW per element. Resistance ranges from 100 ? to 200 k? per resistor; operating temperature ranges from -55 to +125°C. Maximum seated height is 4.95 mm.
