The Model 4872 GPIB-to-LAN printer interface connects older analyzers and instruments with GPIB outputs to a printer with an Ethernet interface. The adapter is easily configured with any browser and includes a test page to verify that the printer is PCL5 and HP-GL compatible. It uses the SNMP protocol to monitor the printer's status and can be configured to handle many instrument-printer compatibility problems.  The 4872 also has the ability to output the instrument's data to a PC for archival purposes while printing. Pricing for the Model 4872 is $485 each. ICS ELECTRONICS, Pleasanton, CA. (925) 416-1000.
