EMBEDDED SYSTEMS CONFERENCE, San Jose, CA. - Offered as an all-in-one solution, the INIC eLITE infotainment system targets entry level multimedia and infotainment systems that need to transfer digital audio, video, data and control information between two or more devices. With a few commands, the INIC can be set up to transfer these signals over an unshielded twisted pair of copper cables, just as if there was no network in between. The system includes hardware and software, documentation, and development support to design low-cost multimedia links. Features include high resistance to noise and crosstalk, data rates up to 50 Mb/s over UTP wire, automatic management of network links, and one-time configuration for fixed-use applications.
