Remote-Head Camera Uses Progressive Scanning Technology To Capture Clear Images
Capable of capturing crystal-clear images of fast moving objects, IK-7XD remote-head camera employs progressive scanning technology to allow the capture of video frames at full vertical resolution in a single shutter event, thereby significantly improving image quality compared to interlace cameras. Housed in a sturdy, ice-cube-size case insensitive to vibrations and shocks, the compact, monochrome IK-7XD is well-suited for use in bar code reading, on-line inspection, gauging, and character recognition applications. The unit's progressive scan CCD employs square pixel configurations, which are said to eliminate aspect ratio distortion during computer processing. Power dissipation is only 3.1W ±10%.
