Realtime video across USB for PCs and portable devices is provided by the NW800 video chip, enabling a new class of high-performance consumer PC cameras. The single-chip solution features powerful optimization technology that makes it well suited to drive next-generation video applications, including video conferencing, video e-mail and chat, as well as real-time site monitoring and surveillance over the Internet.
The chip replaces costly chipsets used in current PC and PDA camera designs. New features include dynamic bit-rate control for automatic video optimization and a Zoom Video port for connection to portable devices.
