Targeted for use in space-constrained electronic systems such as notebook PCs, printers and networking and telecom equipment, the 160-pin Rambus SO-RIMM memory modules are manufactured with RDRAM devices and run at a speed of 1.6 GB/s of peak bandwidth. The modules, implemented with RDRAM devices, are reported as providing higher performance and lower power than comparable PC100 SDRAM SO-SIMM modules.
