Delivering greater performance to real-time, math-intensive applications, the company's FastMATH adaptive signal processor is now available in a 2.5 GHz version. Exploiting the company's Fast14 technology, the 2.5-GHz FastMATH executes more than 688,000, 1,024-point FFTs per second. At 2.5 GHz, its coprocessor, employing 16 engines, can provide performance comparable to that of 400 similar engines running at 100 MHz. FastMATH processor samples are available now in 1.5 and 2 GHz speeds and the 2.5 GHz version will sample to customers on a limited basis in December with general sample availability in Q2 of 2004.
