Wideband VCO Achieves Low-Noise Performance
Aug. 1, 2002
New low-noise wideband VCOs utilize a high-Q resonator structure and low-tolerance components to achieve a typical phase noise of up to -95 dBc/Hz to -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. Specifically developed to meet the requirements of telecommunication, wireless, navigation and instrumentation applications, these RQRG and RQRH series “octave” VCOs achieve frequency doubling up to 3 GHz. Standard types are made up to 4 GHz in a variety of package styles from 4.5 mm x 5.5 mm to 12.7 mm x 12.7 mm. Pricing is $7 to $13 each/10,000. RALTRON ELECTRONICS CORP., Miami, FL. (305) 593-6033.
