Communications Products of the Week (10/11 - 10/17)

Oct. 13, 2020
Here are some of the recent highlights in communications hardware.

Advances in communications hardware are generally fast-paced and innovative, driven largely by new protocols and standards that roll out every few years. Many countries are working to implement 5G and faster Wi-Fi 6, while manufacturers are rolling out devices capable of handling far faster speeds. There’s also talk of 6G, which is purported to offer speeds of up to 95 GHz, but probably will not become viable until 2030. That said, more companies are focusing on currently available technology to handle everything from RF to 4G LTE and more. In this roundup, we will look at the latest hardware to hit the market in 2020.
