Maker Kits Focus on Up-and-Coming Electronic Engineers

Sept. 19, 2024
A family of Arduino-based kits and projects from Funduino is helping budding electronic engineers learn the ropes.

The maker community brings together people of all ages with the goal of learning more about, and creating interesting things with, electronics. Funduino kits target younger and beginning electronic makers, because having tools and projects that are age- and skill-appropriate are important. It's also important not to “dumb down” the tech as to make it more a toy than a tool.

A specialized dealer for microelectronics, robotics, 3D printers, and accessories, the company has been active for more than eight years in the German-speaking Education sector, serving the needs of makers and learners of all ages. The company's Funduino learning sets for Arduino microcontrollers are also known beyond the borders of Germany.

Funduino offers more than 1,500 different controllers, sensors, actuators, 3D printers, robots, and accessories, with a free learning platform at www.funduino.de that offers instructions, tips, and tricks in the areas of Arduino microelectronics, DOBOT robotics, or 3D printers.
