Rockwell Automation's FactoryTalk Design Hub is a cloud-based design system that provides a centralized, on-demand design tool suite. It's designed to work with the FactoryTalk Software solution. Components like FactoryTalk Logix Echo can work in conjunction with platforms like the FLEXHA5000 (Fig. 1). The platform is designed to reduce cost and hardware complexity while minimizing downtime and commissioning time.
The FactoryTalk Design Hub includes the new FactoryTalk Design Studio, FactoryTalk Optix Software, FactoryTalk Twin Studio, FactoryTalk Vault, and the FactoryTalk Remote Access Solution. FactoryTalk also has access to other software services like the sensor support of the Thingworx IIOT service.
The system is designed for enterprise-wide collaboration from the design team to project and system management. The cloud-based solution is designed to be easier to maintain and update.
