The LSN D3 series of non-isolated dc/dc converters accepts 3.3V inputs and delivers 1V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2Vor 2.5V outputs rated at 10A. Housed in SIP packages measuring 51 mm x 14 mm x 8.6 mm, the power supplies can be configured in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The vertical configuration occupies just 0.7 square inches of board space. LSN D3 SIPs are said to achieve true point-of-use power processing. The miniature plug-and-play devices take 3.3V on-board power and convert it with an efficiency of 95.5% to virtually any lower voltage required by DSPs, ASICs and CPLDs. No expensive I/O caps are required. Accuracy is ±1%. At full power, the LSN D3 dc/dc converters can operate at up to 71°C. Pricing starts at $9.95 each/50,000. DATEL INC., Mansfield, MA.
