Optimized for rugged, smaller system configurations where a range of interface technologies must be supported, the PMC PIO1 parallel I/O module provides 32 channels arranged in four groups of eight. Two groups provide 16 channels, programmable as inputs or outputs and specified as either single-ended TTL or differential voltage levels.
The second two groups are configured as 16 output channels, with each group available with either an open collector or a solid-state relay output stage. Full power and signal isolation is provided together with input overvoltage protection and output short-circuit protection. Pricing for the board starts at $2,888 with an availability of eight weeks ARO.
