Touted as an alternative to electromechanical relays in a range of simple applications, the Pico controller has a compact design and features intelligent controls. The controller comes in 12 I/O and 18 I/O versions, is well suited for traditional OEMs still using relays for controls but who would like to increase functionality and versatility. The device performs simple logic, timing, counting and real-time clock operations and has optional memory modules for program storage and transport. The controller can be programmed without any special programming software. Programming and data adjustments are performed with an on-board keypad and LCD display. The 12-point controllers measures only 3.5" x 2.8" x 2.1" and is capable of 164 instructions. Pricing ranges from $200 to $300 each.
