Reportedly the first such chassis developed specifically for housing PC/104 boards, the Air Transport Rack (ATR) chassis fits an industry-standard 5" ATR opening. The aluminum chassis employs the firm's rail and card-cage system, comes in lengths ranging from 4" to 12", and can hold up to 11 PC/104 cards. Further, quarter-turn fasteners provide a standard method of affixing the chassis to the rack, with access to the board provided via removable end caps of the card-cage-- custom end cap configurations are available, as are EMI shielding cords mounted in the end caps. And the card-cage provides thermal conduction to the outer enclosure. Price starts at $545 each/100.
