The Model 6821, a 6U VME plug-in board, contains a single 210-Msample/s, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that provides 100-MHz + Nyquist bandwidth. The ADC is coupled to two Xilinx Virtex-II Pro FPGAs, creating a combination that's well suited for very high-speed data acquisition or digital signal processing. Typical applications include radar and signal intelligence. The board excels at demodulation, convolution, filtering, processing (such as fast Fourier transform), and analyzing operations critical to real-time high-frequency and digital receiver applications. The input is transformer-coupled, and two or four 32-bit digital outputs are available at front-panel data-port (FPDP) connectors. They're compatible with FPDP or FPDP II standards. Availability is 12 weeks, with prices starting at $7595.
