The Champ-AV III single-board computer (SBC) brings multiprocessing power to rugged environments. Up to four 1-GHz 7447 PowerPC processors can be linked together via the company's QuadFlow architecture. Each processor supports a pair of 100-MHz, 64-bit PCI-X buses. The board also has two PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) slots with 64-bit PCI-X interfaces that can support a range of boards, including the company's StarLink StarFabric serial bus interface. Each processor can handle up to 512 Mbytes of double-data-rate SDRAM. A 1-Gbit Ethernet and a 100BaseT Ethernet interface are included as well. Air-cooled and conduction-cooled versions are available. Wind River VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity, and TimeSys Linux all support the boards. Pricing for a dual-processor version starts at $14,995.
