The Q2 shielded-connector system (QMSS/QFSS Series) provides EMI suppression by employing shield plates along the sides of the connector and terminating them to the pc board via selected signal pins. Both single-ended and differential pair versions are available standard, as well as application-specific options. The signal pins are on a 0.635-mm pitch and are available with 52, 104, 156, and 208 pins per connector set. Connectors are polarized to ensure proper mating. In addition to vertical mating with 11-mm spacing between boards, edge-mount, power combo, and non- shielded versions are available. SAMTEC INC., New Albany, IN. (800) 726-8329.
