The Intelligent Servo Drive (ISD) employs a series of hardware and software modules to build custom motion control systems. The modular approach to developing these systems does not depend on a standard board layout or packaging configuration. The OEM gets to specify the form and function of the ISD system. Building blocks available include: a servo driver with brushless motors rated up to 750W; variable frequency drives rated up to 1 hp; logic and I/O power supplies; 24 Vdc isolated I/O; analog I/O; an 8051 microprocessor core with flash memory; high speed RS-232 and RS-485 serial busses; velocity, position and torque control; and keypad functions.
