D-Sub Connectors Take Aim At I/O Apps

July 1, 2001

This new series of space-saving D-Sub connectors is designed for I/O applications. A wide variety of types are available in half-pitch, high-density and standard pinouts and in compact and ultra-thin designs. Through-hole and surface-mount types are offered, allowing the designer greater flexibility in configuring pc boards and front panels. For example, the 25-contact D-Sub female is reported as consuming only 28% of the volume required by standard D-Sub female connectors. Delivery ranges from stock to four weeks ARO. Samples are available.
