In 48-pin MLF packages measuring 7 mm x 7 mm, the XC2028 analog receiver and XC3028 analog, digital terrestrial, and cable receiver claim the ability to receive TV signals anywhere on the planet, regardless of the local standards environment. According to the company, the devices eliminate concerns about conforming to global standards and exceed specifications commonly found in a double-conversion tuner CAN. The XC2028 meets B/G, D/K, I, L/L’, and M/N standards while the XC3028 RF-to-baseband receiver supports ISDB-T, DVB-C, DVB-T, ATSC, and DOCSIS standards, and is operable worldwide. It also supports onboard demodulation of NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV standards. Sample prices for the XC2028 and XC3028 are $9.25 and $14.50 each, respectively.
