Engineered for higher signal density in space-constrained applications, the company's latest male and female 0.05" (1.27 mm) board-to-board connectors are available in single- and dual-row configurations and in plated through hole and surface-mount (SMT) versions. RoHS-compliant, they come with straight or right angle dip-solder terminations and are available in specifiable pin lengths and insulator height options. The female versions employ high-temperature liquid crystal polymer insulators while the male parts rely on Nylon 9T insulators. Materials are UL94V-0 rated and can withstand high SMT solder-reflow temperatures. Other features include an operating temperature range from -40°C to + 105°C and a current rating of 1 A per contact. Average pricing for the male and female headers ranges from $0.035 to $.058 per pin in production quantities. SULLINS ELECTRONICS CORP., San Marcos, CA (888) 774-3100.
