Designed for future high-speed system requirements, the STRADA mezzanine connectors offer a pin-and-socket signal design that is configurable in either high-speed differential, high-density single-ended, and coax patterns. The connectors integrate power contacts, each capable of carrying 10A of current. They are available with stack-height options ranging from 8 mm to 42 mm and suit architectures employing printed circuit boards arranged in a mezzanine application. The STRADA Mesa connector system handles speeds over 15 Gb/s and is available in three sizes, which when fully loaded with all differential pairs will yield 40 pairs, 80 pairs, and 160 pairs. The receptacle and header assemblies are press-fit to the circuit board. Samples are available upon request. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
