All I/O expansion boards in the Sealevel Systems’ SeaRAQ family are isolated to prevent damage from surges and ground loops often found in industrial environments. The boards will fit Relio R3 industrial computers, which contain slots for up to 18 SeaRAQ boards. The first two boards (8520 and 8521) provide Form A relays rated for either 5- to 250-V ac or 5- to 30-V dc loads up to 2 A per relay. The 8520’s 16 relay outputs are organized as four relay banks with each bank sharing a common, while the 8521 has eight relay outputs with discrete commons. Field wiring connects to the boards via 20-position, removable, high-retention Phoenix terminal blocks compatible with 16 to 30 AWG wire. Relio’s backplane connection powers both boards, each providing 1500-V ac field-to-logic isolation. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to +70°C. The company’s SeaMAX software, which facilitates installation and operation, supports Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
