Reportedly, the DS1000B series sampling oscilloscopes are the first in their class to achieve certification by the LXI consortium. The instruments deliver a real-time sample rate up to 2 Gsamples/s and bandwidths from 60 MHz to 200 MHz. They incorporate a proprietary ASIC front-end, which eliminates mechanical relays to guarantee performance and a longer life. Functions include digital filtering, pass/fail testing, record/playback, plus I/O capabilities including LAN, USB, and USB host(x 2). Other features include logic triggering across all four channels, an FFT function, a frequency counter, math functions such as add/subtract/multiply, Ultrascope software, and a 5.7-in. QVGA (320x240) 64k TFT color display. Additionally, the oscilloscopes measure 12" x 6" x 5.25" and weigh 5 lbs. Prices for the DS1064B (60 MHz), DS1104B (100 MHz), and DS1204B (200 MHz) are $1,295, $1,595, and $1,895, respectively. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
