Originally designed for the U.S. Coast Guard as part of a SCADA system to display a ship’s critical parameters, such as speed, temperature, rpm, fuel and more, HI-Q110 has a 3-1/2-digit LCD and receives all information via RS-232C or RS-422 interfac es as ASCII characters. A programmable baud rate is 300 to 19,200 and a 32 address positions are set by DIP switches at the rear of the unit or over the serial port. The displays come in industrial/commercial grades or to meet MIL-S-461B/167-1 specs. Other features include EMI/RFI shielding, all-metal housing, and backlighted display.
