    A high-speed fiber-optic vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) in a miniature flat-window, pill-pack package, HFE4086-001 is a high-performance 850-nm VCSEL that provides a migration path for high-speed data communications up to 4 Gb/s and small-form factor optical interconnects. Its stability lets it be used without a photodiode monitor and complements the firm's broad range of VCSEL and detector product families. The high-radiance VCSEL converts electrical current into optical power.
