Techman Robot TM20 Robotic Arm
The TM20 robotic arm from Techman Robot is a lightweight, high-payload AI collaborative robot (cobot). Weighing only 32.8 kg, the cobot can carry up to 20 kg with a reach of 1,300 mm using six rotation joints. Because the robot is lightweight, its production speed and efficiency are improved thanks to reduced energy consumption and recharge time in mobile scenarios. According to the company, the TM20 is ideal for tasks that require constant turning or have limited space, including semiconductors, electronics, and medical applications.
The TM20’s built-in smart vision compensates for positioning errors and helps provide precision in fast pick-and-place tasks without additional visual or positional monitoring. The cobot takes advantage of Techman’s TM Landmark to allow for real-time updating of the relative position of the arm key points in the environment, making sure the robot remains safely oriented in 3D space, regardless of its position.
The company believes the TM20 is perfect for a wide range of challenging tasks involving packaging and palletizing, massive pick-and-place jobs, material handling, and heavy machine tending. Some applications include retrieval and transfer of medical equipment, semiconductor backend processes, and lifting of wafer boxes weighing more than 10 kg.
