Cincoze DS-1300
A new series of rugged and compact computers from Cincoze are designed with smart manufacturing applications in mind, e.g., vision-guided robots (VGRs). The DS-1300 series can withstand the harsh environment of industrial manufacturing sites using protection mechanisms like wide temperature and wide voltage support, overvoltage, overcurrent, and ESD protection. It’s able to operate uninterrupted for hours at a time.
The computer’s inner workings are also built for tough environments. The DS-1300 is equipped with dual PCI/PCIe expansion slots and industrial-grade protections. These expansion slots enable the connection of various high-speed I/O cards, including image capture or GPU cards for image analysis or robot control. Cards are safely held into place even in high-vibration environments with Cincoze’s patented Adjustable PCIe Card Retainer.
In addition, the computer features 10th-Gen Intel Xeon processors, two sets of DDR4 SO-DIMM for up to 64 GB, M.2 NVMe storage slots, three sets of mSATA slots, and two sets of 2.5-in. hard-drive trays. The built-in GbE LAN can connect the cameras and sensors required by VGRs for high-speed data transmission. According to the company, the DS-1300 has been used in VGRs for material picking, product assembly, machine operation, welding, and stacking.
