I’ve written previously about user interfaces and big-data visualization. Now, reader Edoardo L’Astorina of web-development firm Blu Frame has a review of what he considers the top 20 big-data visualization tools.
He is targeting people who want to wow an audience with a presentation as well as developers looking for a practical way to visualize large sets of data.
Consequently, he divides his reviews into two categories:
“Data Visualization Tools for Presentations: Zero Coding Required,” including Tableau, Infogram, ChartBlocks, Datawrapper, Plotly, RAW, and Visual.ly.
“Data Visualization Tools for Developers: JavaScript Libraries,” including D3.js, Ember Charts, NVD3, Google Charts, FusionCharts, Highcharts, Chart.js, Leaflet, Chartist.js, n3-charts, Sigma JS, Polymaps, and Processing.js.
Read the full reviews here and find a link to each tool.
