A key feature of the Metallux ME680 pressure sensor is its stainless steel package, which eliminates the need for an o-ring while allowing for the measurement of various media. The sensor handles high-pressure measurements, providing models with pressure levels ranging from 0 to 10 bar, up to 400 bar. Each model includes an overpressure range greater than 2.5 times the nominal overpressure and a burst pressure of greater than five times nominal pressure. Supporting a wide supply voltage range from 5V to 30V, the component offers linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability of better than ±0.5% full-scale. Measuring 29.5 mm x 6.35 mm, operating temperature range is from –40°C to 135°C, and price is $39 each/1,000. Samples will be available in May. SERVOFLO CORP., Lexington, MA. (781) 862-9572.
