A one-component epoxy encapsulant with a low viscosity and excellent wetting properties, STYCAST E 151-8 epoxy encapsulant allows complete impregnation of motor coils, transformers, and other electrical and electronic products. Its semi-flexible and crack-resistant properties provide durability and impact protection for the electrical components. Along with excellent thermal-shock performance, its low exothermic properties allow large castings to be cured in one step. The material can cure in 15 minutes at 160°C or as long as 16 hours at 85°C.
