Twist Cables Address Parallel-Pair Cable Designs

Madison Cable brand InfiniTwist cables will allegedly outperform currently available parallel-pair cables.

In terms of bend radius, flexibility, and overall mechanical reliability, the latest family of Madison Cable brand InfiniTwist cables will allegedly outperform currently available parallel-pair cables. Relying on a twisted shielded-pair design, InfiniTwist cables promise to improve cable management in high-density systems through a tighter bend radius that is less than 2.5 times the cable diameter, tested in accordance to the SFF 8417 multi-conductor cable flex cycle test procedure. The cables exhibit virtually no pistoning of conductors or pairs and are available in one through 36 pairs and conductor sizes from 24 AWG through 32 AWG. The cables are also available in impedances of 85? and 100?. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (877) 623-4766.
