In a combined effort with Staccato Systems and Sensaura, the company's SoundMAX v2.0 software uses the AD1885 analog CODEC and Windows software drivers to implement audio synthesis and 3-D sound effects processing. The AD1885 provides stereo analog I/O to the PC's speakers, headphones, microphone devices, and includes high-fidelity A/D, D/A, and sample-rate converters, as well as power amplifier and programmable-gain blocks.
